Cluster of 50 Memorial Trees

I was so sad to hear of Judy´s passing. She was a lovely lady and friend who championed for all. I am not surprised she received the Florence Nightingale award.... very fitting. Sending my condolences to her family.

At SAY San Diego, we are so grateful for Judy's vision in helping to found and start our organization, and her unwavering commitment to SAY over more than 50 years! On behalf of our board, staff, and everyone whose lives we have touched over the many years -- we extend our deepest appreciation for Judy, and our deepest condolences to her circle of family and friends. Her footprints cannot be erased and have formed an indelible pathway of hope, opportunity and vision for the greater good!...

Judy was a force of nature. A "super volunteer", she played a huge role in building community, culture, and service in San Diego. Talk about stamina! Energy! Brilliance! Life! She was "as sharp as a tack". Blunt yet empathetic. Her soul was deep and her spirit fervent. One of my favorite people in San Diego, she was one of the main reasons I am destined to return. Gosh, I will miss her! I will miss her New Year´s Day party with its wealth of oysters on the half shell the family so...

Sending my condolences to the McDonald Family! God broke the mold when he made Judy! She had a heart of gold, outspoken and matter of fact personality! She fought for our community and challenged systems while doing it! She made sure we had a voice at the table and gave many access to supports, funding and other resources! She shut any ounce of bureaucracy down!! I am proud Judy was there to talk with and be in community with. She left an inspiring legacy filled with memories!

I will always be grateful for Judy. May the blessing she was to so many be returned to her as eternal peace. https://fieldstoneleadershipsd.org/blog/remembering-judy-mcdonald/
