Not sure what to say?

Glad to receive this reminder to be with Judith today.

Sorry to hear of your passing today. You were a wonderful teacher. I learned so much in the classes I took from you at Grand Valley. I love youre Poetry. May you rest in Peace.

It is truly amazing how often I think of her, hear her laugh that throaty laugh, and see her glance slyly from the shadows, her opinion rising in that semi-sarcastic way. When I wrote the introduction to "Killing the Bear" I tried hard to do her proud because it was such an incredible poem, such a masterpiece of totemic and archetypal characterization, and I was honored to write. Plus, the production of the limited edition was beautiful. I realize now the poem needed little introduction,...

Farewell Judith. Sorry to find this news. It was great to work with you. May you put in a good word when you meet "the general" (RHG Minty). Rand Bitter

A powerful poet, woman, and the best teacher. I was just thinking about her, looking back, and then here I see this. Live on strong as I remember you and thank you.

Dearest Judith Minty. Your teaching has been with me all of my days. Respect and dear love for you.

Oh! I was just writing about Bears and thought of Judith and wondered how she is. And came here. We met at Yaddo in the 70s. I have always said, Judith taught me how to walk that winter. We shared poetry and a great love for the natural world. And the Bears. And the dreams of Bears. She was a wonderful poet, a poet in her heart. I was so grateful to see her again and again in Northern California, in upstate NY. I always felt renewed by her presence and storytelling. I feel a great...

I've just today learned of Judith's passing. So sorry. We were friends. We first met in Pittsburgh at the International Poetry Forum when we read together, decades ago. She hosted me out in California, and visited here in Brockport. I'm sorry she's no longer with us, and will be thinking about her every day for a long time. I'm proud that she's one of the poets in the anthology I edited: The Generation of 2000: Contemporary American Poets. Condolences for the whole family, and love. William...

I met Judith when she was teaching at Humboldt State University.
Her teaching was inspirational for the students here, and her own poetry just blew us away! She became good friends with my husband, Wally Graves, and me, and shared adventures on the north coast. Annie, I met you in NYC, when you took us to lunch and got us to the "Museum of the American Indian." Lori, I met you in Portland when your mom and I spent a happy Christmas. And a while ago, I visited her at her amazing house...
