Judith Richards

I met Terry and Judith probably 30 years ago while working at the Wayne County Press in Fairfield, Illinois. I admired their work, and that they were doing what I thought I wanted to do (write books). I remember telling Judith, "I want to be a writer." She looked at me...while I was seated there writing a story for the newspaper...and said "you ARE a writer." That changed my perspective, and I have enjoyed a long career in my line of work. I was privileged to be in Judith´s orbit from time to time. She was one of the kindest people I´ve ever met. Her calm proceeded her like a warm summer breeze, even in an Alabama winter. She is missed. Our love to her family. Stacy Sheehan-Wilson.

Judith was the kindest and loving person. Everywhere she went, you were greeted with a smile. She will be missed so much in Fairhope.

Our hearts, thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Judy´s family. We were privileged to have her as our neighbor in the Bluff neighborhood for many years.
