She was so smart. I really looked up to her as we moved through high school together. RIP. Judy

Judy, Jim Fritsch (R. James) and myself were EE lab partners, then friends, at Carnegie Tech in 1963/64. It did not seem unusual to have a woman EE major (she was the only one!), she was so capable, articulate and enthusiastic, brought out the best in others. Even then, she spoke of and had connections with Bell Labs. Often wondered how her career evolved. And, it turns out we share a love for Maine. All very best wishes to Judy's family.
