Not sure what to say?

Judi was a friend of mine back in the River Place Athletic club days. She also taught my kids piano for a short time. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about her passing. My condolences to all who knew and loved this gem of a woman.

Judy was a wonderful Renaissance woman. I remember being at her home for vocal workshops with Peggy Norcross, whom we both knew and studied with. Some of my best memories are singing in the Trinity Choir, along with Judy and David and so many others. I know what it's like to suddenly lose a loved one, as my husband, Albert, died suddenly in January. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We both, as well as David, sang in the Trinity Choir in the eighties and I remember her beautiful voice.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to David and to his children and the rest of Judi's family. May you be held in compassion as you navigate your grief.

I met Judi only a few times, but each time she struck me as gracious and kind. I heard a lot more about her from one of her piano students, Dan, who was my boyfriend for several years. I learned from him that she was a tireless teacher and mentor.

Judi's obituary reads like a novel. I had no idea she was a Montana girl. She lived a life of bringing beauty and joy to the world through her music, her quiet, caring demeanor and her cooking! Judi seemed to have a special connection to my dog, Ivy. My guess is that she made everyone feel this way. Fortunately, she has left a sparkling legacy through her students, her loving husband, David, and her children. Having family members inspired by Ethos, my tribute to Judi will be to them in her...

I’m sorry for your loss. Judith sounded like a wonderful person in so many ways. I am a nurse in the ICU at Emanuel who was lucky enough to take care of Judith in the beginning of her stay. David and I talked about Judith as a person, her love of music, and their life together and other aspects of life. The Stabler family (especially David and Judi) made a big impression on me. I wish you all peace and comfort as you heal.

I did not know Judi well but was awed by her expertise in so many matters from piano and voice to teaching and quilting. I do know how much she will be missed by her family but glad she was able to leave this world peacefully. Love to Stabler and the kids
