Remembering Judy with great love and gratitude for her life on this day and always. Vance Jenkins

Remembering a lovely friend this day and always. Love you, Judy.

Remembering my dear friend, Judy, today and always. Rest in God´s perfect peace, Judy. We will meet again. Love you.

I have a photo of Judy, Emmie Watson, and me taken during the Rectors Garden reception after our graduation from Middlebury at Oxford. I look at it every single day and remember Judy with such love and thanksgiving. I miss talking with her. I miss her quiet wisdom. I miss her analytical, literary mind. I miss her humanity. I miss her. I hope that your rest is peaceful, my dear friend. And I really am looking forward to seeing you again. I shall forever be your friend. And I shall forever keep...

Dear Kate and Chris,

I remain so incredibly saddened to learn of Judy's passing. We spent many hours together in our graduate work - serving as a sounding board for each other's work. We all loved your dear mother. She was a part of what we called, "The Ladies of Tamarak" at Middlebury - a wonderful group of fiercely smart, independent, and seasoned scholars who truly loved the written word. Please know that your grief is shared by so many who adored Judy. And please know that my...

Dear Kate and Chris,
My family and I are so sad at the news of your mom's passing. Our family knew her from her pre-teen years when she and my sister Nancy were best friends. She was gentle, kind, and caring and it was clear that you were the joys of her life.
Her memory will always bring a smile to our hearts and we wish you peace and comfort at this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Jane Haffner and the Wilhousky and Haffner families

Chris, Kate and extended family: I am so sorry for your loss. Some of my fondest memories of the BOD were of Judy and our relationship as her being my boss and friend. I admired Judy for her strength, character, kindness, gentleness and humor. I am sure she will be missed by you and all those whose lives she touched, including myself. God bless and take care of each other

I am so terribly sorry to learn of Judy's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Wallingford Board of Education. When she was about to leave to finish her degree, she encouraged me to also take a similar leap of faith and accept a teaching position. She was an inspiration, and she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. My heartfelt condolences to her family.
