Judith was a very special person. She was honest, sincere and kind. My wife, son and I adored her. We will keep you and yours in our thoughts and prayers. We will also treasure Judith's rich legacy.

I was shocked to get the message from former GAO colleagues about the passing of Judith Ambrose. I left GAO in 1999 and lost touch with her, but during my almost 20 years with GAO, became a friend and admirer. I appreciated her wisdom and collegiality. Often I would go to see her about a work item and a ten minute planned meeting would last an hour because she was a joy to work with and so understanding and compassionate.
