Kemp Jewelers in sales, then working for Wilkerson's, where she directed the liquidation of jewelry stores all over the country. She was also very involved in Bay Pointe Community Church and her community, helping people of all walks of life continue their educations.

For 41 years she was the wife of L. Robert Bryant, who preceded her in death in 2006.
