I remember her being on TV and radio while I was growing up in Richardson. Going through some scrapbooks after selling my parents home, I found a couple of photos of Judy with us during a Girl Scout Award Ceremony in 1977. Judy was the MC and our group of young ladies were the "musical entertainment" for the program. She spent quite a bit of time with us, and even signed my program. I recall that she took great pains to know our names and to correctly say the names of the girls getting...

I met her at a March of Dimes event years ago when I was maybe 5 or 6. She was talking to my Mom who was a local chairman for the Mother's March in Gort Worth. She bent down and asked me if I would like a sweet roll and ga and e me a big hug. Sad to hear of her passing.

The world lost a little of its sparkle last week with the passing of our dear Aunt Judy. She truly had a way of "taking a sad song and making it better" to borrow a line from her favorite song. I think that is why so many people loved to watch her deliver the news at 5, 6 and 10 pm.
