My Condolences to family and friends. She was a blessing to me , a great adviser and friend. She helped me through some things giving life lesson views. Marshall and I were at their house often hanging with Frederick, George, Sandy, Ann and Ms Nancy. They were one of my extended families. Love you and blessings to family always. R.I.P.

There are two fond memories of Mrs. Houston. First she was one of my history instructor at Alabama State. Secondly I did my student intern under her at Robert E. Lee High School.
She was a wonderful person. Rest in Peace

Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal. Keeping the family in prayer during this difficult time.

She was a wonderful teacher and a great friend. I will miss our hallway conversations at Frazer where we shared happy memories of our days at Lee High.
