Not sure what to say?

John, I am very sorry to hear about Judy. You have my sincere sympathies.

Just read today of Judy's passing from a FSU email. She was our class of 1984 adviser. She made a profound difference in my life as she did for so many. She always unpretentiously yet confidently guided us in the right direction. I am a better person today for having known her. John my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Judy will be missed very much by those of us who enjoyed her friendship through the years. Her sense of humor, quiet support and loyalty, generous spirit, and warm smile are well-remembered and appreciated. Deepest sympathy to her family.

We at Wesley United Methodist Church in Framingham, Massachusetts were all sadden to receive the notice that Judy had passed. We all loved her and she gave so much to our church. She played in our bell choir, sang beautiful alto in the Senior choir and was involved in the financies of the church. Condolences to the family.

I met Judy through her brother Bob Clem at family Christmases in recent years. She had a wry sense of humor and she had an unassuming intelligence--a delight to be with. I feel privileged to have known her.

Judy was my former sister in law and I delighted whenever I was in her company. She had beautiful intense brown eyes, a quick smile and genuine warmth and affection. May her special qualities inspire us in our own lives.

Sorry for your loss. Judy obviously lived her life helping others and will be loved always by those she served. Comfort to her family and friends.

After reading so many comments from Peace Corps friends and family friends, and academic friends, we can only say again: Judy Clem Klaas will be greatly missed. She was also a Pi Beta Phi member at Birmingham-southern College from 1956-60 and a dear friend to many. With love, Betty Scruggs Gunn, her college roommate and special friend through the years.

I am so sorry to hear about Judy - my thoughts are with her family and all she touched during her lifetime, including the people of Thailand and Thailand 1 Peace Corps Volunteers. She made a difference!
