Not sure what to say?

Judy Shuler, my 8th grade homeroom and English teacher was my favorite! She was cool and no nonsense at the same time, and I loved having her as my teacher. One strong memory I have is the day she brought her record player to class and played Carole King's, Tapestry album. It was the 70's and no other teacher would have been so bold. We listened carefully, heard the rhythm and digested the poetry of the songs. She made learning fun.

She was my 8th grade English teacher, and I learned to appreciate the presence of grammar and prose. She was a great instructor, and this was an exceptional obituary. Rest In Peace

I am So Sorry for Your Family´s Great Loss! She was one of My Favorite Customers at the Fish Camp. She will be Missed!! Love You All

She was an excellent 8th grade english teacher at Woodsdale Junior High School. And she was a great support to me during a very difficult, yet wonderful time of my life. R.I.P. Judy.

Bill & Ashlee I am so deeply saddened to hear this news. She was a wonderful person. I loved baby sitting Ashlee! Judy let me help her grade papers during my study hall. My thoughts and prayers will be with you both!

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Luff was my homeroom teacher at Wheeling Park from 1980 to 1983. I went through some very hard times my senior year. She helped me get through, like only she could. I, absolutely, adored her. Strangely, I thought about her just a few days ago. I wondered if she was still in Wheeling. My son is going to Ashville in May to look at jobs and wants to move there. It is a small world. I know your lives will be forever changed. She was one of the best people I have...

ought about you and Judy every time I am reminded of my retirement dinner and that crazy cupcake she had you bring. The obituary was beautiful and so fitting. I´m so glad I had the privilege of knowing you both.

I have the most wonderful memories of doing the musical, MAME with Judy in the Oglebay Amphitheatre in Wheeling about 150 years ago. As Mother Burnside she had some of the best lines, delivered impeccably as only Judy could.! From this lovingly penned obituary, it seems that this wonderful, funny and sometimes wacky lady continued to give joy and goodness and kindness to those she met. I am so sorry for The loss her family feels "...and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest." ...

As I read the obituary in the Wheeling paper, I was flooded with memories. Fresh Elby´s coffee, Park games, pet names, floating in the pool. She was a great lady, and a great teacher. Sending my love and condolences to your family.
