Judy Mareiniss

Heart goes out belatedly to the family, in particular Dave with whom I was a friend in college at Pitt.

It´s hard to believe you just aren´t here anymore. Inside my head I still think I´m going to see you at the next Sorbello reunion. You were a special part of the family and are missed.

This morning, I was reading the on line edition of the Post-Standard and came across the unsettling news that my friend and musical collegue, Judy Mareiniss had died on May 16, 2020 from complications related to the COVID-19 virus. Though Judy and I attended rival high schools (her-Fayetteville-Manlius, me-Jamesville-DeWitt), we had a common bond, performing beautiful music for an appreciative audience. June 10,2021. I just found out and I am so very sorry to hear of Judy's passing. Looking at her sweet smiling picture above brings so many memories. RIP Judy.

I wish I had known Judy better at the time we were in the same orbit. What a beautiful tribute. She touched so many lives in so many places! My condolences to all who knew her. RIP Judy
