Not sure what to say?

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day, and I remember Judy Vendur as one of my most interesting and favorite teachers. I took Russian history at North Stanly, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

Dear Linda,

I was so sorry to learn that we have all lost Dewey after her courageous battle with arthritis. She was a very special person whom we'll miss so much. Thank you for a beautifully stated obituary which truly captured the essence of Dewey.

I've always said that you're a saint for opening your home and heart to Dewey when she really needed you. No one else can know what it's like to be a caretaker for so many years, and Dewey was blessed to have you...

Dear Linda,
Just know that you are in my thoughts at this time. I know how special "Dewey" was to you and that you were the ultimate friend in her life. I know you will miss her very much but she will live on in your heart forever.

My heart goes out to you.
Take comfort in good memories.
Love,
K

Linda, we were shock to hear of Dewey's death.............we have you and her family in our thoughts and prayers. Marie & Terry

Dear Linda,
My prayers are with you that you will find peace in the fact that Dewey will suffer no longer. Word has it, there is no more suffering once you pass. The suffering is only here, where we find it hard to accept our love one gone. You my dear Linda, have been a God sent to have been in our dear friend Dewey`s life, and to have been her "care taker". You are in deed a "saint".
What a wonderful obituary... all the years I have known Dewey and still finding out new things...

Sincerest condolences

Dear Linda -
Remember me? George Lambert's friend. I don't know what to say about Dewey - how sad. I guess I was shocked, too, that she was 60. My goodness, she was so young at heart that I just always assumed she was in her 40's... I know so many people and pets will miss her.
I guess she can help George now! God bless all of you. Susan.

Dewey,
Henry David Thoreau said,"Friends cherish each other's hopes. They are kind to each other's dreams." In the few short years I have known you, I have observed how you cherish your friends and how you never forget what is important to them and their lives. For me, Mr. Thoreau captured the way I see you, a loving friend who truly honors the dreams of others. I will sorely miss you. Love, Shannon
