Not sure what to say?

Juel's passing is a tremendous loss for Greenwich Firefighters Local 1042. His hard work, dedication, and wealth of knowledge paved the way for many of the benefits our union brothers, both current and retired, enjoy today.
I will always appreciate the advice, friendship, and encouragement that Juel provided me as a newly hired firefighter in 1987.
When we heard Juel's voice announce over Fire Dispatch, "listen carefully", we knew that we were going to a working structure fire.

Dear Denny:
So sorry to hear of Juel's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
cousin, Janie Kowaleski

My brother is deeply missed by all in the family and those who knew him. The condolences that have appeared warm us with your caring. The obituary I wrote was not the easiest thing I have ever done, but Juel deserved the writing for his connection to the family, the town of Greenwich and the Greenwich Fire Department. Thank you.
Dr. Gale E. Kroyer-Vrtiak

Juel's obit. tells it all. A true gentleman who always had the best interests of all in mind. It was most interesting serving with him at the GFD back in the 60's, 70's and the 80's!!

I was sorry to hear of Juel's passing. He was dedicated in his efforts toward his brother firemen and always a gentleman. It was a pleasure to serve with him at Central.
