Not sure what to say?

Ihanat muistot Jukasta.

I first went to Dr. Perkiomaki's office in 1997 at the recommendation of Dr. Richard I. Park's office down the hall (where I'd gone since age 2!), when I turned 21 and needed to go to a "for adults" dentist! It was a decision I never regretted. It continued for 15 or so years. During most of these years, I would book my appointments during my trips to Portland, as I'd moved to Los Angeles. Every aspect of Perkiomaki's office was outstanding across the board - the hygienists (Jenny, Dory,...

Pat and I are so sad to learn of Dr. Perkiomaki´s passing. He was our family dentist and became a wonderful friend. He was such a skilled dentist, but most importantly a kind and honorable man. Sending our deepest condolences to his loving family. Mary and Pat Brophy

Jukka´s warm smile & graciousness on the court always was welcoming! Memories of playing squash with him at the Y so many years ago through more recent games at the MAC. Our thoughts to his family!

I am so sad to hear this. He has been my dentist since the early days of his practice on the east side. I was so excited and happy when he was filling in for Dr Bennett and I got to see him last spring. I will always remember him as kind, professional, and a great dentist. I also lost my mom to Pancreatic cancer, so have much empathy - it is so sudden and hard to fathom. Know that Dr P will be missed.

We were in the class of 1968 at Astoria. We were both saddened to see the Jukka had passed. Mike played varsity football and basketball with him. Jukka was a great teammate and an even nicer person. He was a lot of fun to be around. We were not surprised he led an exemplary life.

Jukka was a terrific person. Warm, good natured, always a pleasure to be around. I first met him in the 1970s when we were members at the Duniway Park YMCA. Later we played many rounds of golf over the years at Riverside, Astoria, and Pumpkin Ridge. I was sad to recently learn of his passing; wondered why I hadn't seen him at the MAC club the past few months. He touched a lot of lives and will be missed. My condolences to his family.
