I was out of the country and unable to attend Jule's funeral. I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to Kate and her family.

Dear Kate: I was sorry to hear of the death of Jule. I always enjoyed seeing him at bar meetings. I fondly remember an evening I spent with you and Jule at a meeting in Charleston a year ir two before he became president of the State Bar. I will miss him.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Jule's passing. We shared many grand times together during a friendship of some forty years. Jule was dedicated to his family, his profession and his State, serving each with much success. I will miss his friendship and wise counsel and send my love and prayers to Kate and his family.

I was a classmate of Jule and respected his later success. My sympathy goes to his family.
