JULES B. ABBER

ABBER, Jules B. Age 88 years, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Chestnut Hill, MA, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023. Jules was the beloved husband of Karen (Gould Isenberg) Abber and the devoted father of Robin Abber of Canton, Heidi Abber-Berman and Michael Berman of Marblehead and Faythe Abber-Van Dam of Rockland. Jules was the loving and very proud grandfather of Madison Elizabeth Van Dam and Sophie Mae Berman. His wife Sheila Abber predeceased Jules in 2005. Sheila and Jules opened The Four Walls Wallpaper and Design Studio in 1974. The Four Walls grew to become an icon in the Greater Boston residential and commercial interior design space. After decades of success, Jules and Sheila retired in Delray Beach, FL. Today, The Four Walls continues its success in its second generation led by their daughter Robin. Jules had many joyful travel experiences with his wife Karen and many loving memorable times with his children and grandchildren. He loved classical music and had a wonderful sense of humor. Graveside services will be held at the Ohavi Sedeck Cemetery, 350 Grove Street, West Roxbury, MA, on Sunday, November 26 at 12:00pm followed by shiva at 59 Walpole Street, Canton, MA from 2:00–6:00pm.
