Not sure what to say?

Our family is deeply saddened to learn of Mr. Jules Hurst's passing - we fondly recall him from our days in Springfield VA as being a brilliant, kind person as well as a devoted dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hurst family.

Susan, Jill and Jay,
So so sad to hear of Sonny's passing. Thinking of you and remembering him fondly, what a great friend, boss, slugging buddy and next door neighbor. We were blessed to have him in our lives. Love you all. Jo and Sully

Susan and children and family, I knew your dad when we were all gradeschool children in Biloxi, MS. He was full of fun and 'instructions'as we would play Army in the front yard. He was always an excellent leader. I was proud to call him friend. My prayers are with you all in your loss of husband and father. May God comfort and keep you all until you see him in heaven. Love and prayers in The Blessed Name of Jesus, Don and Sue Powers

Jules was a kind, gentle soul full of a wealth of information and encouragement! May God give grace, comfort, and peace to the family until the Day of Christ's glorious appearing (Titus 2:13).

Mrs. Hurst, Jill, and Jay - I am so sorry for your loss. I know we have lost touch over the years, but I think fondly of you and time I spent with your family. I pray for you in this time of grief. I send you warm wishes, happy memories, and a heart of love.

Dear Susan, Jillian, and Christopher,
This news hit me like a ton of bricks. It was just in October that Ruth Ann and I had lunch with Sonny and Susan. We had not seen one another in over 30 years. Though a little older, Sonny was the same matter-of-fact straight shooter he always was. I loved him for it. May God comfort you and grant you all safe passage in your journey through life without him. You will see him again in a better world. Sincerely, Tim Baxter, Nicholasville, KY

My condolences to the Hurst family. May all have comfort from the god of all comfort during this difficult time.

To Susan & the Hurst Family,

My heart ached when I received the news of the, passing of my good friend, my former FEMA supervisor and mentor, Jules Hurst.

What a great all around guy he was, it was because of Jules that, I became employed at FEMA as DAE.

He had a heart to always help and encourage others and give, great words of advice and wisdom.

So I offer my prayers of, God's peace, God's comfort and God's strength to you Susan and the entire Hurst family of...

I am sorry for your loss. Please note that God can be a source of comfort and hope during this challenging time for you and your family. (Psalm 36:9)
