Not sure what to say?

I worked under Ms. Alexander's leadership when I worked at Nye Elementary sometime around 1995-1997. I had been thinking about her, and decided to look for her. I was saddened to hear about her passing. Great administrators are few and far in-between---and Ms. Alexander was one of the finest that I had the honor of working with because she was fair, wise and professional. I realize that she passed in 2020 (same year as my mom), but I still feel the need to pay respects and send prayers...

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Although I didnt have the privilege of knowing Julia, I so enjoyed reading about her in the April 26 edition of the San Diego Union Tribune. I love her infectious smile.
For us spread across the country, we watch the nightly news and see the daunting numbers of people who have passed from Covid-19. But we dont see their names or faces. We dont get to know who they really are. Clearly, Julia is so much more than a statistic: she was an accomplished...

I send prayers to the family first. I was so sad when heard the news Mrs. Alexander was a wonderful teacher. I had her as my 6th grade English teacher and home room. I had so much fun and learned alot from her, she will forever be in my heart.

She is already missed

Best teacher EVER! You were my 6th grade teacher (1991). It was apparent that you loved what you did. You gave us the freedom to be creative and explore. I'm devastated to hear you transitioned, but am so thankful I got to cross paths with you. My condolences to your family and friends. Such a gem.

On behalf of the pastor and members of the Christian Fellowship Congregational Church of San Diego, United Church of Christ, I wish to express me sincerest and deepest condolences to the family. Julia was a very active and faithful member of our congregation for many years. I have fond memories singing with her in our church choir. Although no words of sympathy can ease the loss you bear, I hope you find comfort knowing that the Christian Fellowship family, truly care.

Julia was a kind and supportive vice-principal at Nye Elementary, where I still teach today. I admired the spirit in which she lived her life, always smiling. My condolences to her children and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
