Julia and Kymie Homecoming 2009

Love and prayers,

Remarkable or Special doesn't even come close to describing you Julia! Thank you to your family, your husband, and your children, for letting us share you in our lives. The real challenge now will be, which of us will pick up your torch? Your passion? For those who do, the world will be a better place - just like you made it for those who knew you.

I can't even believe the news i received this morning of your passing. It seems like only yesterday that our life paths crossed at the NAIA. This video brought back some many wonderful memories of you and the loving, caring spirit i remember about you. Rest in piece my friend and please know that God will watch over your family and friends.

Your light WILL live on through those you touched!

I can honestly say that there are only a few people who have walked into my life and changed it forever. Some are just flickers of light during a long life, while others are consisten glows for years. Julia will be a consistent glow for me, forever.

"I can" statements are the way we do things at the Middle School. Although Julia didn't have an actual classroom to write her "I can" statement on the board, there's NO one who ever encountered her who couldn't "read" HER "I can"...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. I taught in the middle school with Julia several years ago. She was truly an inspiration to the students.

Julia was truly an inspiration to ALL. The thing I love best about her was that I never once EVER heard her complain! She was always so positive.
I pray for her entire family to find healing. Please have comfort knowing she is now free from any pain. I know without a doubt that she is cradled in God's hands.

Julia was a great person, very involved in our Delta Zeta Sorority @ WJC. Extending my sympathies to the family. May God hold you in the palm of his hand at this hard time.
