The neighbors of the 5000 block of Astor Place SE Washington, DC were very sadden to hear of the passing of. Ms. Julia/ Ms. Berry as she was affectionately known.
Ms. Julia/Berry was a sharing and caring person to all the neighbors residing in the apartment buildings of 5020, 5024 and 5026 as well as the houses across the street. To Julia Family, I think God for her the help to save my life and stay sober for 27 years, I met her just under 30 days clean new in recovery. I was in a program, and she shared, and for the first time, I heard something that made be believed that this program could work for me. My family is in appreciation for her that help me to find faith and hope and that she gave me. From that day until this one I stand on what she gave me from her spirit and her soul.
