I had known Julia Harrison Biggs all my life, but it was not until my mother, Sophia Critcher, died in 1997 that I got to know her well. She was kind, empathetic and totally in charge of things at a time when I really needed it; she knew the things my mom would have wanted to be done, because she knew her well. I lost one of my best friends. Mrs. Biggs as I always called her was like that second mother to me. I am truly heartbroken of my friend and boss passing. Forever in my memories. She was a awesome woman. I am truly blessed to have known her.
