Not sure what to say?

To Justin and Jamie and all of Julie's family
Although Julie and I had not seen each for awhile she is and always will be a dear friend to me. Julie truly had one of the sweetest smiles I have ever known. I keep hoping to see that smile next time I get to Evanston but unfortunately it is going to be awhile.

I cannot express how much the loss of Julie saddens me, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

This letter is to Julie and her family, I just wanted to let her and her family know just how much I loved and admired Julie.

Dear Julie

I am writing this letter because I needed to say good-bye in my own way and to let you and your family know just how much I loved you and just how much I looked up to you. Julie you are the sister I never had.

After finding out the news my first thoughts were WHY? Why did this have to happen to you, Why did god let this...

Dear Bonnie and Family,
We are so very saddened by the loss of Julia. Gratefully it is only temporary in eternal perspectives. Each of you will remain in our thoughts and prayers through the coming weeks and months. I quoted this in the letter I sent but I love it so much that it's worth repeating. It's from a novel I read recently and the author speaks so well of how we feel: "The Lord has his purposes. He has always asked the most difficult things of his people. You ask why. (I...

I have been asked by several people to post the tribute I gave to my beautiful daughter at her funeral. I took the liberty of changing the words to the song IF HEAVEN by Andy Griggs and told of what Julia's heaven would be.....

If heaven was a family it would be my family
With my dear Justin, Kaylee and Isaac- sent from above.
Mom & Chuck, Dad & Margaret,
Jamie, Jackie, Rick, Rach & Bec all to love.

If heaven was a color it would be purple
Lavender,...

My heart is heavy with sorrow for your loss. You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful, close family to offer each other support. Julie was a beautiful person inside and out. Her smile would warm a room full of people in seconds. She was such a wonderful mom to her beautiful babies. Keep her memory alive for them. She loved children and it was obvious as she cared and loved for the others in her life. She stood up for what was right. She suffered emotional pain a few years ago, but...

Dear Bryce and Ella Beth and Bonnie:

I was saddened to hear about your granddaughter/daughter. My parents, Bob and Helen Clayton, have always spoken well of you and I have fond memories of visiting your family in Midvale. May the Lord's choicest blessings be with all of you at this difficult time.

Love,

Bonnie,
It has been so many years since we have seen each other. What a sad time to renew an old acquaintance. I'm sure at one time or another I met Julia in the Dr. Barton's office.

When I first saw her picture, there was something familar about her, but until I read the obituary I didn't know what that was.

Know that my prayers are with you and your family at this time. Always remember you are not alone.
(Nurse in Dr. Barton's office years ago)

An unexpected loss can bring forth emotions that are difficult to understand. Sorry for your loss.
May the Lord comfort and share in your grief.

I have so many wonderful memories of Julia. As cousins we spent a lot of time together growing up – She wasn’t just a cousin to me, she was my childhood best friend. Summers spent together split between Evanston and Salt Lake City; time spent at Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt’s house; family reunions; shopping together with both of our Moms; and even letters to each other during the in between times. Most of my memories growing up involve Julia; we even got our ears pierced together! (Yes,...
