Julia Bristow

Miss Julia will truly be missed by many people at the Naval Safety Center. She was an inspiration to all that knew her. My sympathies to her family.

Julia was an engaging and inspiring person. She gave me an abelia bush which thrives in my garden and attracts multitudes of butterflies. Her delight in nature was cantageous. A truly independent soul, intelligent and thoughtful. Julia did admirable things in life. May peace be hers in the after world.

I have such fond memories of Aunt Julia from our trip east when we visited her. Because of her I helped our students create a butterfly garden in the school where I teach. She was always fascinating to talk with because of her knowledge and interests. We love the painting she did of our house, which I asked her to do as a surprise for my husband, her nephew. We will miss the wonderful phone conversations we had with Aunt Julia.

I will miss your style, your elegance, and your fine artistic talent, and will always remember you and enjoy your fine art work.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Bristow for the past two months. She was an extraordinary person & artist.
