Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Julia's passing. She was my supervisor for a couple of years in the Admin. Acctg. Svs. department at Air Products. She was always so pleasant and helpful. A great person to know. I am going to purchase her biography to read. Should be very interesting. Sorry for your loss. Carol Reinhard

My wife and I enjoyed very much touring Oxford, England, and its environs with Julie and her first husband, Richard. Our discovery of the art and culture there, especially the music, was enriched by their presence. We also enjoyed reading Julie's fascinating biography of her life in World War II Europe and her triumphant immigration to this country. We send our sympathy to Ken and her family. We will miss her.

After my touching base in Georgia, New Jersey, Colorado, and Virginia, I met Julie in Penn. in the early 70's at the Unitarian Church in Fountain Hill. I was in and out of the church, but I have no doubt Julie was always there. A family member once proudly told me, "Julie can DO ANYTHING", and it really seemed she could, all in her own quiet way. I will miss her. ---Bobbie Knudson

So sorry to read this. . . Julia was a gem of a human being and I feel blessed to have known her. My condolences to the family - one more saint on your sides!

I had the pleasure of knowing Julia for many years and for being her supervisor for several years at Air Products. Her autobiography is a wonderful story of the adversity she had to overcome as a young child while fleeing from her homeland, living in a refugee camp, and then making a new life in America. But she did not let that past color her life. Instead, Julia was all about others - as the long list of her volunteer involvements attests. Rest in peace, Julia, you have earned it!
