Julia was suitemate in 2007 on my first trip to Bad Konigschofen, Germany, our Arlington, TX Sister City. She became a dear friend and was fellow MPAC member frequently acknowledged for her commitment to protecting the environment, her knowledge of butterfly migration, and subsequently honored by the COA with a park named in her honor! I was blessed to know her and share some quality time with her during her time in Arlington, she definitely made the world and especially our beloved City...

Saddened by the loss of a gracious and forthright leader. In her role as city council representative, she helped to restore a school zone on Davis street in front of St. Maria Goretti School. I am always grateful to her efforts, and for the opportunity to make her acquaintance. Wishing peace and sympathy to her family at this time.
