Julia Casey

I hardly knew Julia but many years ago when I pulled out of a downtown parking lot, the attendant asked me if I would like to take Julia, who had just pulled in and was on crutches, to her destination. The building was only a block or two away and I was glad to do it. A few days later, a lovely bottle of wine arrived at my home from a lovely woman.

A life well lived. Nothing but class. Always brought a smile to my face. Thanks for the memories.

Julia was my first female mentor in the practice of law. She was brilliant and funny, unassuming, kind and loving. You couldn't help loving her "southern drawl." She will forever be in my heart. Patty Kurt

Sheldon, These are sad days indeed. After learning from Fritz yesterday about Julia´s death, my mom and I had a lovely discussion of her dating back to the 1970s. My mom had near-perfect recall of their conversations. Julia was like that: memorable, even upon first meeting. You have my and Chynna´s condolences.
