Julia Lee Andrews Chapman, age 34, of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009, at her home.
Julia was born in 1974, in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of
Kathy Marie Payne Dolly and Randy Dolly of Winchester. She was employed as
Head Teller at the Stephens City Branch of BB&T Bank. She was a 1993 graduate of Handley High School. She was a member of Round Hill United Methodist Church and Woodmen of the World.
Surviving in addition to her parents is a son, Ryan Christopher Chapman of Slanesville, West Virginia, her companion, Charles A. Shimp, Jr.
of Winchester, and two stepbrothers, Roy and Ripley Shell.
A funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 16th, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Reverend Jay Kelchner and Reverend Anthony Wadsworth officiating. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frederick McFarland, Jr., Frederick McFarland, III, Daniel Puffinberger, Robert Puffinberger, Roy Shell, and Ripley Shell.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday evening, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to Julia Lee Chapman Fund, c/o of First Bank, 661 N. Loudoun Street, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
I want to thank the pallbearers who were Frederick Mcfarland,Jr.,Frederick Mcfarland,III, Daniel Puffinberger,Robert Puffinberger,Roy Shell, Ripley Shell, Mark Payne, and Sott Lewis, for being there for me and our family. They made all of us proud. I know Julie was smiling down on us and was so proud as well. Our love to all.
