Not sure what to say?

Mom was a true angle to me. She always put us kids first. Each of us six children are one year apart, before bed she and Dad would make rounds singing lulliby, scratching backs to put each of us six to bed. She welcomed all our friends, worked full time yet made time to answer our calls when we needed her. She burnt the bacon just right and made the best chocolate chip cookies ever! She did not judge others, always treated everyone equal and never turned away someone in need. Mom was an...

Our first house in Alaska was down the street from the Falkes. Ginny was my best friend. I played endless hours with all the kids.

Memories I will alway treasure:
* Kay built a playhouse in the backyard with custom stove and sink set.
* When the Falkes were building a basement onto their Anchorage house, my older brother Kevin was climbing a 2x4 and got a 3" sliver in the palm of his hand and ended up in the emergency room.
* Julie alway had tubs of ice cream in the...

The service was beautiful and i would like to thank everone for coming and sharing that with our family. I miss my grandmother very much and Grandpa you are always in my prayers. I love you both

I worked with Kay in 1980 and 1981 at Anchorage Center. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Julia and Kay were like second parents to me while growing up. Julia always welcomed me into her family and home without question and with open arms. The family, especially Julianna, was a safe haven and warm place for me through many hard times as well as good times. I'll never forget all of the yummy pizza nights with cold pizza for breakfast at Hillcrest Dr. I have always thought of Julia with great admiration and deep love. She raised an amazing, loving family. I send my love to all of...

I also worked many years with Julia at PW. She was one of my favorite people. Her daughter Julianna babysat my son Ricky! I'm leaving town tomorrow morning and am so sorry I won't be able to attend the service but I'll certainly be thinking of you all. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go to Kay and the family.

I worked with Julia at PW. She was a good friend and mentor.
She talked about her family all the time, you all meant the world to her and she loved you all SO much.
She will be greatly missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her.

This is her youngest daughter. She was loved and admired by all of us children.
