Not sure what to say?

Dear Don,

I've just learned of your mother's passing. My deepest sympathies.

Your writing has been a source of pleasure and a comfort when life has gotten me down. I'm hoping you find many sources of comfort in your time of grief. And that your memories sustain you in your loss.

Dear Don,
We were so saddened to learn of your dear mother's passing. Please know that she and you are in our prayers.

Dear Aunt Julia,
You were not only my dear Aunt, but my Godmother. I am so happy that my Mom, Rosemary Glut, and I were able to spend some time with you in October of ’06 and my daughter Suzanne and I could spend time with you in May of ’08. We will miss you so much.

So many of my wonderful childhood memories revolve around you and Don and all the fun we had including going to Wheeling to see Grandma and Grandpa Glut. It would not have been as much fun without the two of...

You raised a successful son as a single parent (and we all know how difficult THAT must have been). You opened your home to me and others on the holidays so we would feel loved and cared for and enjoy the best holiday meals we ever had or ever will have. You are one tough and classy lady. We all love you very much, and will miss...

Honestly, the world is just going to be less interesting with the loss of Julia. One of the most colorful, interesting and lovable characters I've ever met who adored her son(Don) unconditionally. We met her years ago and we had the privilege of spending time with her every time Don came to town. I'd spend my time with her while Allen and Don did their dinosaur/horror movie things, Julia and I would cook dinner ("A womans place" according to Don) and she would tell me stories that would...
