Thank you Julia for your kindness to me in the early 1980s. We met in a music store and you invited me to play guitar on your original music demos at a top KC recording studio. You had won funding from a major record label to cut your very original and new-wave style rock songs. I was just out of high school and it was a real honor to be asked to be part of the creative work. It was great fun to work with you and your musical partner, and I learned a lot and enjoyed getting to know you both....

I was friends with Julie for a few year's. We met at GNC Vitamin Shop in South Coast Plaza. She was weighing herself on their commercial coin scale and I made a comment guessing her weight at 115 pounds she gave me a funny look, I laughed and went back to work. I was working at Oshman's in South Coast Plaza at the time. We crossed paths again and struck up a conversation. I remember Julia and Reve as small girls. When my Uncle Roy and Aunt Trudy Hoffman lived in Lewistown. They visited them often. They talked about them. They were so happy to have them be part of their lives. I was a Hoffman before I married I am now a Winking. RIP Julia.
