Julia Pearl Hamilton

I was away from New Haven, where I knew Julia, for many years before and since the time of her passing. I was so grieved to learn of her passing and wish to add my voice to those who cherished their time and relationship with Julia - a brilliant woman whose achievements touched the lives of many. Julia was a mentor to me, encouraged my professional and academic pursuits, gave tirelessly of her time in guidance and consultation, and possessed endless energy on behalf of those who benefitted...

Dr. Hamilton was an extraordinary individual. She was welcoming, always available for a chat if you needed, and a wonderful mentor. I remember my time as a graduate student at Southern Connecticut State University fondly. RIP Dr. Hamilton
