My deepest sympathy to all of Julia's family. I live in Statesville and I did not know Julia had passed until I tried to call her about 3 weeks ago and got some weird recording (not by her). I took a chance and "googled" her, I was stunned when it pulled up her obituary. Julia and I were Inner Wheel friends for many years. We were roommates in Charleston, S.C. ( I took her to the hospital in the middle of the night), and we were on an IW Cruise together. I also would spend the night...

It was a blessing to have know Julia for the past 40 years. She was a wonderful friend, kind and was sharp as a tack! When you were with Julia, it was always fun. Her greatest blessings was her great family! Love all of you Hite´s and will continue prayers for all.

I am very sorry to have lost a really good friend & tennis buddy for over 50 years. We will all miss her. My heart goes out to her loved ones!

I am so sorry to lose such a wonderful friend of
52 years. She will be sorely missed.

I had the great pleasure of singing in the "Ladies' Choir" at Myers Park United Methodist Church with Julia and always enjoyed time with this spunky lady. She will clearly be missed as will her fun loving spirit .My deepest sympathy to her family for losing this bright light. Terry Huntley

Jim and I enjoyed getting to know Julia when she traveled with all of us in the Chancel Choir on our Concert Tours. We had a lot in common since the three of us were all Mississippians! We will miss her dearly.

I was one of the lucky people who learned to play pickleball at Nano Sports Center. She was a patient teacher and I never felt bad losing to her----which I always did. She will be missed. Sharon Toole (704)999-1275.

Although had know of Julia through MPUMC, we became good friends when we both moved to Southminster the same year. We frequented the fitness center at similar times with Julia on treadmill and me on elliptical. We shared our life stories, our faith journeys and our love of laughter. Becoming Julia´s prayer partner was an honor over the last two years. Being her bridge partner was always a delight too. It has been a privilege to be her friend especially the last 4 years and I already miss her...
