LITZNER (SHUE), Julia Katherine – Of Burton, age 93, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at The Oaks at Woodfield.


 


Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dave Boillat and Pastor Larry Burk officiating.


 


Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.


 


Those desiring may make contributions to the South Baptist Childrens Ministry.


 


Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.


 


Katherine was born in Iredell, North Carolina on May 29, 1922, the daughter of Ira and Emma (Mackey) Overcash.


 


She married Earlie L. Shue in 1941 and then Robert Arthur Litzner in 1987.


 


She was a very active member of South Baptist Church.


 


Surviving are children, Pastor Donald Shue of Ohio,                  


Doug and wife Norma Shue,


Bonnie and husband John Patchett of Dearborn Heights,


Phil Shue and Donna Mott,


Debbie and husband Randy Allen;


 


step-daughter, Karen and husband Ron Adam of Davison;


 


step-son-in-law, Connie Cagle;


 


14 grandchildren


13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter;


step-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren;


 


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earlie Shue, in 1980; second husband, Arthur Litzner, in 2000; sister, Mildred; brothers, Ira, Jr., Allen and Keith; grandsons, Bryan Allen and Todd Shue; daughter-in-law, Susan Shue and step-daughter, Pat Cagle.
