NELSON, Julia Kaye - Of Flint, formerly of Novi, age 71, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Visitation 12Noon-8PM Friday, April 27, 2007 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 11AM Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Dave Hintz officiating. Burial in Roseland Park Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. Jude's Children Hospital. Julia was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 28, 1935, and was the daughter of James and LaRue McGee. She moved from Novi to the Flint area in 2004. Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Eastern Stars, Chapter #239 of Farmington Hills. Surviving are 2 children, James and wife Lisa of Flint, Carol and husband Kenneth Zinski of North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, James Zinski, Brittany Zinski, Raymond Nelson, Randy Nelson, Kenneth Joseph III and wife Linda Zinski; great-granddaughter, Annabelle Zinski; sister, Jacqueline and husband Ronald Ill; 3 brothers, James and wife Claudine of California, Jan of Colorado, Jean and wife Janice of Michigan; 9 nieces and nephews.
