Jana, I remember the day your mom took us for our tricycle license plates and fabric for the doll-clothes bags!
3807 Shamrock, chocolate chip cookies, embroidery, crocheting Granny squares, sit-upons and doll clothes, marbles, fresh-brewed ice tea, shish-kabobs, snapdragons and marigolds, Christmas stockings, card games and clover chains, summer Bible school, trips to the fabric store, genuine love wrapped in warm hugs – Julie: a second mom and an indelible part of my life.

Mrs. Ramin was right down the hallway from my mother, Mary Peck, at Emeritus at Lakeview Assisted Living. I saw her daily, and she always displayed a tremendous sense of humor. She was an avid reader and treasured her family.
