I think of you often and at this time of the year I think of Ms. Smith as she would be getting ready to come and visit you all. She is truly missed and a day does not go by that I don't think about her. I miss our long talks. I know she is having a good time in her Heavenly Home. I was a student of Ms. Smith at W.C. Davis Elementary School in the 50's. She taught me art. She always kept us busy with an art project to complete by the end of the class period. Always helpful and energetic to help her students. I was informed of her passing recently and was sad that I did not hear about it earlier. My condolences to the family.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of Miss Julia Emma Smith today. I sent her an Easter card and it came back; I called and the number was disconnected . I live in Texas now and Googled her and saw the obituary. Will one of her nieces or grandnieces call me , Shirley S. Case Miller@ 205-381-5368.
