Not sure what to say?

Aunt Julia was a wonderful woman who had a long and memory filled life. Growing up we would go to visit them often and I remember what a love she had for camping and fishing. I never had the chance to go with them as I was too chicken, but my brother's all had the chance to share in her love. Before she passed on she knew that camping was a love of my husband and mine and shared in many stories together.
When I was younger I remember my Uncle Ralph and Aunt Julia coming to pick up us...

This is a tribute to Great-Great Grandma Julie. My Great-Grandma Gerbig is writing this cause I am only [nearly] two years old, and she wants everyone to know how much I laughed with my Great-Great-Grandma Julie, when my Daddy, Matthew Wimmer, took me to visit her often. My Grandma Karen Wimmer used to always visit Great-Grandma Gerbig and Great-Great-Grandma Julie, when she came to Lincoln, from Denver, where she used to live. She lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma now, and I live in Thornton,...

Grandma Julia as we all called her was a very special person in our lives. She was one of a kind, not like any like any other Grandmas. The special times I remember most are when I went over to her house so she could teach me how to make runzas and kolaches. She loved to cook but never had a recipe to copy down for me. Everything was in her head. Whenever we went over to their house, there was always food to eat and she wanted to feed everyone. She truly loved to cook. Another thing I...

Mom, wife, grandma, sister, aunt. A most beautiful person. Sadly, she is gone. I love her and will miss her.

Dave,
What a wonderful tribute to a very unique lady and mother! She left the world a better place and sounds like she made a difference in many lives. We know you will sorely miss her--but what wonderful memories you will always cherish.
She passed on many traits that you more than aptly carry on for your family, friends, and community. You are a wonderful son and person!
Love to you and all your family,
Russ and Irene

Julia was my Great Grandma and I loved her dearly. I saw her just one week before her passing. I miss her but she is in a better place.

What can I say about the worlds GREATEST Grandma. All the years of eating the best food ever, the fishing trips, the love & laughter, & everything else in between.Life will not be the same knowing that she's gone, I guess no-one expects it to be. The term "sorely missed" doesn't scratch the surface, but it'll have to do. God bless you grandma, I'll miss you ALWAYS. your grandson, Steve Gerbig

I, like my big brother Jeff, have very fond memories of Julia. I spent many afternoons playing at her house, in her yard and around her garden. As kids we were always welcome to wonder and explore as we wished. Which led to many wonderful adventures that I will always cherish.

I pray that Ralph will be strong and continue to live the courageous life he always had.

With Love,

Joey (Buddy's youngest)

I was a neighbor of Julia and Ralph. I, Jeanne Wilson, was married April 23,1955, so Julia & Ralph, Gene and I, married the same year. This year will be our 49th year of marriage. Love & Sympathy to all of her family during this sad time. Juanita Jeanne Wilson, formerly of 925 Peach Street, Lincoln, Nebraska
