Julian Burr Carruth

Julian was indeed a special considerate and good friend plus my supervisor at Field Service at Vought Aerospace. He always wished me well in my career events we spoke after both of our retirements. A true family man and genuine to the bone. I have fond memories. Thanks for this tribute that is well deserved.

Julian hired me at Vought Aircraft in 1968. I really treasured his friendship, kindness and respect. In those days women were thought of differently so respect was noticed. He loved his family and told stories about the boys and his successful wife. We talked through our retirement years and I shared my stepping stones through Vought/Northrop Grumman. Wonderful man, father and co-worker. thanks for sharing him with us. Blessing!

Julian hired me at Vought Aircraft in ‘68. He was my favorite supervisor during my 34 year career. Always a gentleman, genuine spirit and was interested in my future. He loved his family and will surely be missed. So sorry for your loss. Blessings and comfort to the family. Bea Wilson.

He graduated a year after my brother Ralph, and was his dorm mate at Texas Tech, and a lifelong friend. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Burr was one of my favorite people! He always had a calm steady manner but quite a sense of humor. You never knew what would come out of his mouth. What a wonderful father and husband he was! Burr you will be missed!!
