Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

To the Family of Julian Garber,

I did not know Mr. Garber personally but I have come to know him through my work at Elk Hill in Goochland County. Reading the entries in this guest book I am not at all surprised by the generosity he demonstrated to our organization. What a wonderful role model for all of us -- he was a true hero and a selfless supporter of people in need. He is an inspiration to me and to everyone here at Elk Hill -- and we all hope we can somehow reflect through...

I just loved Julian and will truly miss my visits with him. I always looked so forward to talking to Mary Duke and sharing family news. She was so interested in listening. Then after she left I could hardly bear going there but just had to go to see her "Ju". They will be together again now and even though we will miss him terribly I know that he is happier with her. I am so sorry that I can not be there to express my sympathy in person but due to family commitments (our baby Matthew baptised...

Dear Chris, Julie, Dana, and families,
I thought so much of Mr Garber. I remember his brilliant smile and sweet nature. I know he will be sorely missed, but I do know he is in a better place and with Mrs. Garber once again. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Love,
Dotty

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

To the Garber family;

May I offer my sincere sympathies to your enter family.

I've known Jan for many years since taking my dad to the last few army reunions in Ft. Wayne.

I knew from the first time we met that he was someone special and that impression never wavered. He was a wonderful person that had a sincere dedication to the soldiers he led during WWII. He was a true gentleman.

The world has lost one of the best and I will cherish the great...

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Julian. Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Garber family. Julian was a friend to all and highly respected among those who knew him. He always would lend a hand to those in need and took great pride in his community. He leaves tremendous shoes to be filled. He is now again with the love of his life and they will bring joy to all in Heaven.

Julian;

We have known each other for many years, both in WWII and many reunions later.

I've admired you and Mary Duke for all you did for myself and my wife, Rita.

Now, I salute you.

Leonard Stockoski
