I just found this notice when I was thinking about Julian and Soraya. Julian and I shared a desk in Anchorage at ANMC Primary Care in 2008. He was passionate about access to health care as a basic right, and high standards for medical practice. I was a new Nurse Practitioner and he was very generous in sharing his knowledge and experience. He was also very generous about sharing his Cuban coffee and his wisdom about life. I'm very sad to hear this unbelievable news. He was traveled in Nepal for Trekking with his wife and one other his friend. I was guiding for them. Rest in peace.

I'm saddened to hear about Julian's passing. We worked together at Salud Para La Gente Clinic in Watsonville, Ca. He was a very competent and compassionate provider. May he rest in peace. My most sincere condolences to his family.
