Not sure what to say?

Found his marriage contract Kettubah at a thrift store today. I purchased it in hope to return to his family

I still think of him so often. He was a very good doctor, friend, and always ready to help even before you could ask him... So dedicated to his profession, loyal to the ones he loved, unconditionally... Honored to have had him in my life.... Still now in a place of happiness, joy, peace where he is FREE....

My heart felt thoughts.
I respected and worked with this doctor for a long time. I enjoyed his humor and devotion to his patients.
He would do more than was expected to help anyone.
Dearly miss him... Heaven is brighter now...

As a patient from 1991 Dr. Jacobs told me not to give up stage 4 cancer and most uplifting person I have ever known. Dr. Jacobs would leave his desk to have radiologist explain their results and yes taught them too about medical and factual findings. He did educate me on bow ties, hearing aides, opera, life, happiness and to believe in yourself first what a great doctor and friend to all veterans. I know friends & co-workers of his department as Wayne Edwards will continue to give their best...

Julian was also the first person I met when I came to Emory and did a rotation with him in Hematology. He was always supportive and an important mentor. Over the years we kept in touch through Jim Shelburne. He will be missed
Judy Ratzan, MD

Julian was one of a kind. Only he could have written that obituary. Our loss is God's gain.

Julian was my mentor and much of my success I atribute to him and his teachings both medical and ethical. He was a friend of Israel and I bought bonds thru him in 1967 or so.
He trained me in Hematology and taught me things about being a man.
I loved Julian and he loved me. When I was installed as President of MAA Julian was at the head table with me and as only Julian could do brought things down to earth with "Willie who would have knowed that you could have fooled all these people...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dr Jacobs will always be in my memory as he was the first Emory faculty I met applying to the medical housestaff having been introduced to him by Kitty and Harris Jacobs. His intellect and special sense of humor remains with me. My sympathy to his whole family.
