Julian Jao touched my life, and I'm grateful to share a few of my favorite memories of him. Julian attended kindergarten just a few blocks from my apartment, and some days after school Julian and his mom, my friend Lindsey, would visit me on my stoop on 2nd Place to enjoy blueberry donuts and people watch on my bustling Brooklyn block.
