Glenn and Mary, Deepest sympathy to you and your family. Mr. Knippenberg was a great man. I am lucky that I knew him; I know that all that knew him were thankful for all he did. I often think about him and how he would always “work the crowd” at the Ky. Beer Wholesaler Conventions. What a true Kentucky Gentleman

I first knew Knip from Walgreens drug store downtown Lexington. He was friendly and recognized you as a customer each time you visited the soda counter. Next was Law School where he was a great influence on many students. Then I practiced law in Lexington the entire time he was doing the same. We saw each other frequently and he always had a kind word. He will be missed.

Knip & Mary,
Sorry to hear of your loss, but so happy you made the decision to move back home when you did and spend more time with him. Your Dad sounds like he was a very interesting man, now I know where you got it from.

Having been Mr. Knippenberg's legal secretary for 16 years, I can say he was the greatest! His clients even loved him like he was a close family member. He gave of his time so freely and unselfishly helping others, including myself. He was definitely one of a kind. I knew Glenn and Craig the best, but my condolesces go to the entire family.
