Julian Lane Moynahan

Resonant are my memories of meeting Catherine, hearing Elizabeth extol Sunday morning reading TNYTimes. Continued condolences to sisters and offspring. Please let me know if there is a biography, memoir in progress.

Julian Moynihan was highly influential in my decision to write down my ideas and experiences in book form.

I am sorry to only just now be hearing of Professor Moynahan's passing; I was a student of his at Rutgers as an undergrad, what seems a hundred years ago (1970s). He was a great teacher, but I remember him better for his kindness, patience, tolerance, and wit. He stood out for those qualities as well as his scholarship, even among the outstanding faculty of Rutgers College in those days. I took a class from Him at Rutgers in 1965 or 1966. Jimmy Valvano also was in the Modern Anglo-American Poetry class. Julian was great and I learned a lot!
