Not sure what to say?

It's been so long yet it still feels like just yesterday.. I'm here right where you were a couple years ago, beginning my military career with the USAF. Not a day goes by when I'm not thinking of you bro.. You've inspired me in ways you don't even know. At first I didn't understand.. I thought, why Julian? Not Julian, anyone but you. But now I see, now I can understand that you have to love this world and the people in it so much more than you do yourself to serve and defend our country. And...

To the family of Senior Airman Julian S. Scholten:
Julian gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."

1st deployment homecoming 7 months

It's not everyday that you come across a person like Julian. Julian was an intelligent, caring, fun, and loving individual. He had a way of making an impression, and people were drawn to him. He saw the good in everybody. He was about having a good time, and made sure everyone around him was. Not ever did he complain about daily life stresses, instead he looked forward to everything that life had to offer. Julian loved all of his family and friends, and did whatever he could to help them and...

My main man JuJu form Madison. A lot of fun and funny times we all had. My condolences to the family. RIP

The first time I met you was when you moved to Maryland in the third grade. You were so quiet but later you started opening up. All of us (classmates) wanted to know who was the new guy?! When we all got to know you we all loved you. Its been a pleasure knowing you all through the school years and on. I will miss u deeply my friend. I Love You and Miss You! Until we meet again!

I will never forget you Bro. I pray your mom, dad, Tori, and Diamond are staying strong remember your laugh. You have the personality that can light up a room and I pray now you will do the same to the night sky. And I'll never forget the slowest TD all time. You aren't the a fallen, you've risen now. Till we meet again my friend.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved Julian. I wasn't privileged to know him personally,
but my daughter Annie, also in the Airforce spoke of what a great friend he was. He paid the ultimate price for our Nation. He will live forever in the hearts of the many people that love him. God bless you.

I was taken back by this because my maiden name is Scholten. Whether we are related somewhere down the line or not, the world has lost a great person. Rest in peace
