Not sure what to say?

Jeanne and I lost a true friend recently, and I lost a respected co-worker, a man who loved his job and enjoyed doing it.
Julian Smith looked like a Trooper, his uniform was always pressed and neat.
I will always remember his dry wit and humor. Our trips to Florida were never complete unless we stopped and visited with Smitty and Norma.
They always welcomed us with open arms. You always felt "confortable" in their home.
I am so glad that Jim and I were able to...

Norma,
Not sure you would remember us but we were on Twy a couple yrs before Julian retired. You both were so nice to us, making us feel welcome and we thank you for that. Julian helped me find my way when I got to Twy and it made so much easier. We remember your retirement party and how, afterward, you invited us to your home. Our thoughts and prayers go to you and family. He was a good man.

One of the finest men that I had the pleasure to work with. A good person to have with you when the chips were down, due to his uncanny ability to think things out when under pressure.

I have not lost a friend in "Shine" - he has simply gone ahead while I must linger here a while longer. He has always opened his home with a smile and hug whenever I visited - neither time nor distance will dim his memory in my heart. How proud I consider myself calling him my friend.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Smith. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
