Peaceful Reflections

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a remarkable man, my father. He lived a life filled with resilience, independence and joy, especially after the passing of my mother. For many years, he embraced his autonomy, managing his daily life with grace-cooking his meals, and when he couldn't cook he ordered them from his favorite place, washing his own clothes and driving his car until well into his nineties. While family is essential, it's important to recognize that my father...

My great grandpa was an amazing man with strong faith. He taught me so much about our people and the sacrifices he made. He was kind, funny and uplifting. We will miss him dearly.

He was a strong man, but also a loving one, and he helped shape the values that made me who I am today. As I grew older, I came to treasure the way our conversations evolved-the wisdom he shared, and the way he...

Sending condolences to Mr. Snype family. Mr Snype and my father were roommates at The Victory House. He was a joy to sit down and listen to his stories of WWII. Mr. Julian Snipes is a true part of history and a hero. He would make me laugh when he talked of taking a stick to his children. I remember those days myself. Mr Snype, you will be missed. Gods bless you.
