Julian T. Stewart, 29, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Friday, April 27, 2012. Julian T. Stewart was born on July 2, 1982 in South Bend, Indiana to the union of Lisa R. Stewart and Dennis Lynn Wright.


 


Julian received his G.E.D. in Phoenix, Arizona where he resided for several years. He worked as a painter for Paint-Right, Inc. and as a cook at Happy's Soul Food. Julian loved music, eating, and most of all, his family, his entire family. He was most known for his infectious smile and his charismatic mannerism.


 


Julian received and began his relationship with God at an early age. He began his studies at Olivet A.M.E. Sunday School at the age of 2 and was baptized at the age of 12 at Olivet A.M.E. Church and was very active in church as well as Sunday School. During his teenage and young adult years he attended New Salem Missionary Baptist Church, the home church of his late grandmother, Ernestine Stewart-Jackson and family.


 


Julian leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lisa R. Stewart; godmother, Mary "Happy" Cherry; his son, Julian Jordan Stewart; and daughter, Lydia Justine Stewart; his siblings, Larinzo D. (Tamika) Wright, LaJuana (Corey) Odynski, Deidre' L. (Kenneth) Wright, Lateesha D. (Terrence) Wright, Noel Corey Stewart, Jeremy S.  Stewart (Tonya Chitenje), Tomasena Kennedy, Nina E. Mincey, Da'Net T. Jackson, Keanna Pack-Erby, Yolanda (Calvin) Austin, Tanika Wright, Paris Wright, André Wilder, Dennis D. (Shani) Kirtdoll, Jamil D. (Neeca) Jackson, Parker Wright, Jayton Kyle, Jerome Mosby Jr., Parryn Corrnell, Christina Sutherland, and Antoinette Christopher of Indianapolis, Indiana. Julian also leaves a vast host of family and friends to cherish his memory.


 


Julian was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Lynn Wright; two brothers: Jason Stewart and DeSato Wright; his maternal grandparents: Ernestine Stewart-Jackson and Johnny Jackson; his paternal grandparents: Edward D. Wright and Gladys Wright; a host of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services for Julian T. Stewart will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 in Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home Inc., 2702 Lincoln Way West, South Bend, Indiana. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and services at 12:00 noon. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
